With a pop, we arrived at The Burrow.  I didn't enjoy apparating as much as I would've, seeing how I vomited.

"First time?" Mr. Weasley asked me. I nodded, and he made a small noise that sounded like an apology. I shrugged, it wasn't his fault. We walked inside, and found many people packed around a small table.

"Hello!" They all said in unison.

"Uh, hi," I whispered.

"Everyone, this is Willa," Mr. Weasley introduced. "Willa, this Bill, Charlie, Percy, you know Fred and George, Ron, and Ginny."

"Hi," I said again, and sat between George (I noticed he had a freckle on his neck that Fred didn't have), and Mrs. Weasley.

The table was loud as we ate.  Everyone talked over each other, trying to get their two cents in. I just sat there, taking it all in.

After eating, Mrs. Weasley showed me up to Ginny's room, where I'd be staying. I thanked her, and started to unpack my things. When I was halfway finished, Ginny came in, and I instantly because friends with her.  She was only 8, so it was a bit strange, but we still bonded.

The next day I spent wandering around outside. Most of the time, the twins were with me, but I tried not to pay much attention to them. They bugged me, so what was the point in paying attention to them? As the day went on, though, I found myself smiling more and more at their jokes. I even tried to crack a few, but it didn't go over well. I couldn't sworn one of them had whispered "amateurs" at on point, but neither of them would own up to it.

Finally, it was Thursday. Somehow, we managed to transport 8 of the Weasley's and me to Kings Cross station. Traveling for Kings Cross to Platform 9 ¾ was strange. How were they able to hide an entire train inside one of those pillars?

"Fred, George, Willa, do you have everything?" Mrs. Weasley asked, for the sixth time. We responded with out "yes"'s, hoping she would remember she had already asked us this question a million times. "Best get on the train now! Don't want to miss it!  Make sure you write to us!"

I smiled at her. She was so protective; I loved it. I decided to give her a hug, unlike any of the boys. She seemed to appreciate it, and I could've sworn I saw a tear fall down her cheek.

When I got on the train, almost all the compartments were taken. I managed to find one near the back, and sat alone.  A group of people about my age walked by, and I looked hopeful, but they just glared at me, and went to look for another compartment.  At 11, the train started moving. A group of older students walked by, but one slowed, and then knocked on the compartment door.

"Can I sit here?" She asked me.

"Sure." A few minutes passed in an awkward silence.

"I'm Nymphadora Tonks," she introduced herself.

"Hi Nym--"

"Except don't call me Nymphadora. Dora or Tonks is fine."

I nodded. "I'm Willa."

"Well, hello! I've never seen you around, are you a first year?" I nodded again. "I'm in my sixth year, and I proud Hufflepuff! What house do you think you'll be in?"

"I don't know. Probably Hufflepuff, like you, or Ravenclaw."

"Well, hopefully you're a Puff!"

After hours of talking, she asked, "Well, I'm going to get changed into my robes. Would you like to come with me?"

"Sure, let me grab my robes!" I reached for my trunk.

As we were coming back from changing, George handed me a box. "Just a little present for you!" he said, and ran off with his twin.

Tonks eyed the box. "I'm going to go catch up with my other friends. I'll see you at the sorting ceremony!"

"See you later!" I yelled after her. I sat down at my seat, and picked up to box. I examined the box carefully before deciding it couldn't do any harm. I opened the lid, and immediately regretted it. A power cloud erupted from inside of it, and filled the whole compartment. I screamed. A professor came rushing in, and pulled me out of the could.

"Oh dear," she said. "We should get you to Madame Pomfrey right away. Soon enough, those boils are going to start hurting."

I nodded, and I ran after her, towards where ever we were going.

"Name?" She asked me when I got to the Hospital Wing. I told her, and then she rushed off to notify Professor McGonagall of what happened. Madame Pomfrey put some ointment on my face, and told me to wait.

I took a breath, and stepped up to the doors of the Great Hall. I was now boil-free, but I was scared. Would everyone laugh at me when I walked in? Just another first year, already making a fool of themselves. Pushing all thoughts aside, I opened the door, to a magnificent sight. For large tables spanned the length of the room, and one at the front sat the professors. The ceiling was unable to be seen, but I could see clouds and floating candles.

"GRYFFINDOR!" someone bellowed. I looked around, to find the source, when I realized it was the hat sitting on George's head. Right, I thought, Father told me about the Sorting Hat!

I walked towards the front of the hall. "Willa Tomlinson?" A professor, probably McGonagall, asked. I nodded, and sat on the stool, not sure what to expect.

"A tricky one, you'll be, eh?" That hat spoke. "You're loyal, like a Hufflepuff, but you're also very creative, like a Ravenclaw. A brave one you are, so maybe you belong in Gryffindor. Perhaps the cunning Slytherin are for you?" The hat grew silent for many minutes, and I became very worried. "It'll have to be . . . . GRYFFINDOR!"

The table erupted into cheers, but my heart sank. I would have to put up with the twins for at least the next seven years of my life.
